My name is Harpa Rún Ólafsdóttir and this site contains the artwork that i have been doing in the last few years.

Lately, my artwork has consisted of sculptures or paintings which I cover with drawings packed with all kinds of symbols. I find that the beauty of the art lies within the multiple meanings of the symbols clustered together. The outcome is often an odd mixture of naive happiness, eroticism and morbidity. I am also fond of making installations. The outcome of them depends on my surroundings at the time.
